DisruptHR NEWS: Celebrating 10 Years of Disrupting the Future of Work in 2023!

G'day Disruptor!

2023 is a big year for DisruptHR in many ways!

On December 13, 2023, DisruptHR will be 10 years old! It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since our first event was held in Cincinnati, OH on December 13, 2013.

Back then, my co-founder and I never expected that DisruptHR would be anything more than a one-time event in Cincinnati, but it was clear the first night that people loved the fun format, and the opportunity to hear from new voices with ideas about the future of work that needed to be shared.

Fast-forward to July 19, 2023, and we're now supporting 144 license holders in 34 countries around the world who are holding 1 - 2 events each year, and bringing their communities together to disrupt!

Since 2013, over 6,400 DisruptHR Talks have been delivered, and looking at the upcoming events that are already scheduled into 2024, there will be many more in the future.

A big thanks and much gratitude goes out to everyone involved with organizing, supporting, attending, sponsoring, and speaking at DisruptHR events in the past, and who will be in the future! ❤️

Upcoming DisruptHR Events:

DisruptHR events are occurring in the following communities within the next two weeks:

DisruptHR Islamabad PK 2.0 - July 20

DisruptHR Port of Spain TT 1.0 - July 25

DisruptHR Washington DC 5.0 - August 2

If you haven't had the opportunity to attend a DisruptHR event yet, make it a goal to attend or speak at one this year!

Stop Worrying About Getting Invited to the Adult's Table, and Take Your Seat at the Head by Christina Luconi - Chief People Officer at Rapid7

In this 5-minute DisruptHR Boston Talk, Christina challenges HR leaders to shift their focus from wishing for a "seat at the table" to stepping into the opportunity to make a real difference in their organizations instead.

"Seat does not equal impact. You can have the seat, but if you're not doing anything with it, if you're not adding true value, what's the point?"
