Hallo Disruptoren! DisruptHR events were created for the purpose of providing a place where people could come together and connect, have fun, and share ideas. Last week, I shared a post on my personal LinkedIn profile reflecting on how I felt in March 2020, when what was shaping up to be a year with a record number of DisruptHR events went to zero events within a period of 2 weeks. Like many during that time, I wasn't sure what the future would hold, or if that future would include DisruptHR. But come back we did, and I'm so happy that people are connecting with our original purpose at live events once again!
DisruptHR has become a massive part of me, who I am and my inspiration. I have met some great people who have become friends, clients and collaborators. I've travelled to many, and now travelling afar. — Sam Eaton, Business Coach at MindAbility Consultancy Ltd
When I got involved with DisruptHR in 2019 it was like an awakening. The adrenaline, the sense of achievement, meeting and talking with intellectually stimulating people, and the shared excitement about TALENT: THE PEOPLE has fueled me both personally and professionally. I'm so grateful for the founders of this organization, for unknowingly helping me understand what shines my light. — Rachael Perillo, Regional Director of Talent Management at OneDigital
I spoke at my first DisruptHR event a couple of months ago. It was fantastic. It helped me overcome my fear of public speaking and made me realize I’m actually pretty damn good at it. My video became the #2 most watched internationally a few weeks ago. Recently I’ve been contacted to do paid speaking engagements. Needless to say, DisruptHR LLC has changed the trajectory of my life and has opened new doors for me that I didn’t think were possible only a few months ago. — Kevin Mendenko, Vice President Human Resources at CORE X Partners
DisruptHR was the first speaking event I was selected for when I decided to become a public speaker. I gave a talk I’m still proud of today. — Angela L. Shaw, SVP of TalentSVP of Talent at Amplify Credit Union After almost 10 years, and over 600 events organized around the world, it's clear that our original purpose still has value, and people still want to come together to connect, have fun, share ideas — and more. ".... optimism is not mere hope. It's the confidence that your leadership can positively impact someone's life and take them beyond where they believed they could be to a better place — along with your company's results. THAT is the edge of optimism." Hello Disruptor! Have you ever wondered what makes a DisruptHR Talk truly great? Forget perfect polish or pro speakers - to me, it's all about passion and pushing boundaries. I've seen many nervous first-timers, and the timing of the slides getting away from some speakers, but their ideas? Interesting. That's the DisruptHR spirit: sharing bold ideas, even if it shakes things up a bit. And guess what? A DisruptHR idea doesn't have to be "disruptive" to be impactful. Some of my favorite Talks...
